Many people measure intelligence by analysing how successful a person appears, whereas the rest find various other factors more suitable for judging the same. In my opinion, success is one of the methods to measure someone’s intelligence, but not the finest one. Additionally, there are several ways to check whether someone qualifies in intelligence criteria or not.

If we go by the definition of intelligence, it is usually linked with the individuals' ability to solve complex problems, to associate past experiences with the current one as well as to adapt with the new situation. Moreover, sometimes it is measured by various IQ tests available, for example, Wechsler Intelligence test, Mensa test or many others of such kind. However, what exactly composes intelligence is a matter of contradiction for a long time. So, whence one can be considered intelligent depends on how originally they can think.

Anyone can find out examples of the people, who were considered eggheaded and innovative but because they lacked discipline, willingness and perseverance could not reach their goals. On the other hand, individuals with average IQ lead prosperous life because they had the determination and hard work, needed for their purpose. Subsequently, we can say success is attained by having a positive and persistent approach rather than obtaining a high rank at intelligence level.

At last, it could be stated, those who score high in IQ tests cannot lead an accomplished life without being determined towards their aim. It matters most to be proficient in one's skill, which is generally achieved through practice, for becoming successful in their endeavours.
